Women’s Circles
In-Person Gatherings ~ Bowdoin, Maine
Women have always gathered in circles — at births and deaths, under full moons and long nights, beside fires and in quiet rooms — to remember themselves in the presence of one another. These gatherings are not new; they are ancient, and they are being called forth again.
Each circle is a ritual container devoted to presence, listening, and the tending of what is alive. Rooted in animistic and earth-honoring traditions, the work invites meditation, shamanic journeying, shared ceremony, and spacious time for inner integration. Guided meditations open the way; the deeper work unfolds in its own time, held by the collective field.
The circles are aligned with seasonal and celestial thresholds — solstices, equinoxes, and ancestral gates — offering a way to live in rhythm with the land and the wider cosmos. In the colder months we gather indoors by the wood stove; as the year turns, we move outside to sit with fire, earth, and sky.
If this feels aligned, you’re invited to join us in circle.
No prior experience is needed — only a willingness to arrive as you are.
I look forward to sitting in circle with you!

We are living in turbulent times, and accessibility matters. Please offer what you are able, trusting that your presence is part of the reciprocity that sustains this work.
Accessibility & Physical Space
During the colder months, we gather indoors in a ground-level studio with no steps. Seating includes a mix of camp chairs and straight-back chairs in a spacious room.
In warmer months, circles move outdoors to a nearby area approximately 30 feet from the studio, on fairly level ground. A variety of seating options are provided, including camp chairs, Adirondack chairs, and outdoor straight-back chairs.
The studio is fully equipped with a restroom and kitchen. Parking is available directly in front of the studio on a wide, level driveway. You are welcome to bring your own chair, cushion, blanket, or any additional support that helps you feel comfortable and at ease.
Sensory & Participation Notes
Incense, sage, or other plant smoke may be used during ceremony. Drumming, rattling, and recorded music are part of the circle.
Participation is always invitational. Sharing, movement, and vocalization are never required. You are welcome to listen, step back, or engage in ways that feel supportive to your nervous system.
Please feel free to adapt the experience — bring layers, grounding tools, fidgets, earplugs, a journal, or anything else that helps you arrive as you are.
